"Poor customer service. Yesterday, I came to this store to simply return a loaner pulley remover and core power steering pump. The employee immediately became upset and complained that it was early in the morning, he can’t do a return and I should know there is no cash in the registers. I paid via card so cash was never a factor. He was visibly upset, began speaking in Spanish, walked to the back and had another employee come from the back to finish the transaction. He was a grey shirt which should have a higher standard of customer care. The person he made come from the back was an older gentleman, red shirt and was polite. He completed what was a simple transaction. Moral of the story: leave your problems at home."

Roberto (give this man a raise!) turned what I thought was going to be an absolute nightmare of a situation into what I can only describe as a sublime transaction between a business and a customer. "Not shocking but a negative experience. Found budget car battery with website promise of included installation; called store ahead to confirm, rep tried to semi-hard pitch more expensive battery but confirmed budget battery in stock with installation included. Arrived to store, had to fight against both hard pitch and manager trying to tie more expensive battery and withhold installation until this was done. Resisted, back and forth, they installed the battery. Typical AutoZone sleaze but it's not the employee's fault."
