Reviews of Publix Liquors at Livingston Marketplace
"Love this location!!! Took a chance and tried their Guacamole with Pico in the produce section and it was worth money money!!! It’s $7.99 but you will not be disappointed!!!!"
"I have been going to this location since it has opened since I live near by. I enjoy shopping and eating here. The customer service on the floor, deli and cashier is excellent. Keep up the good work."
"I have ALWAYS loved Publix and they proved themselves as top notch customer service again today. We placed an instacart order for pickup. I was not feeling well physically and was sure I could not walk the whole store to get what I needed. When it was time to pick up our order we went and parked in the reserved pickup parking. We were unable to check in through the application so we called the store to let them know we had arrived. Several minutes later they came out to let us know that they did not have the order and after looking into it found that the instacart shopper had cancelled the order. Unfortunately they, instacart, did not even bother to notify us. Totally unacceptable!!! However, Publix stepped up. They could have dropped the subject and we would have had to leave order again and go back. Instead, Publix and the. OUTSTANDING associate who had to come out and give us the bad news about the order, went above and beyond. The associate took pictures of our instacart order from our phone. They then did a speed shop and got EVERY single item we ordered. Interestingly enough even a couple of items the instacart shopper said we're not available. They literally ran the order out to us from the store and placed in our car. I wish I knew the associates name because he should be thanked and given a bonus for the had work. He works most weekend days as he has brought groceries out to us before. Thank you Publix. You continue to be the best and why I won't shop for groceries anywhere else. Other grocery stores can only dream of that level of service. Thanks again Publix."
"Love this store. Now my new go to for shopping. The staff all smile and are happy to help with anything you need. The store is spotless and well run. Have yet to find an item I needed that wasn't in stock. The attitude of the store staff really makes a difference at this location. I really appreciate everyone being so happy to help. Today one of the managers was bagging groceries, he bagged mine. This impressed me. Everyone works hard to ensure the store is in tip top shape. Perfect shopping experience. I don't avoid shopping now that I have a great place to go."
"Me and my husband had been really excited for the opening of this Publix. It is a beautiful store but they lack customer service in some areas, specifically the bakery. We came in to order our first baby shower cake in early February, for April 1st. Barbie was an associate who helped us with the ordering process up front at the bakery. She was very new (which is understandable since the store was so new). Every question we asked, she had to go to the back to ask someone else for confirmation. If someone is that unsure about taking cake orders, then I believe they need more training before they take cake orders on their own. We even brought a printed picture of the cake we wanted and we told her how many people would be at the baby shower. She told us to order a towering tier cake for $40 and we agreed because we didn’t know what size cake we needed to order. We had 35-40 guests. We also came in a week before the baby shower to make sure everything was good with our cake order and that they didn’t need any extra information from us. They said everything was good. The day of the baby shower, we came in the morning to pick up the cake and it was a cake that could have only fed 15 people, it was that small. I honestly didn’t even know what to say to the worker at first. We told her that it wasn’t what we expected or went over with Barbie at all, and she got her manager. The manager repeatedly told us “I don’t know what you want us to do.” And never tried to help the situation. I walked out of the store crying because I felt like she wasn’t trying to help us at all or come to a resolution. When I left, my husband resolved the situation with the manager and she said she could have it fixed but there would be a “price difference.” He said okay so that we could atleast have the cake fixed before our shower that was about to happen in 3 hours. When he picked up the cake later that day, they tried to charge us $100 for the cake, even though they are the ones that made the mistake at the bakery. My best friend worker at the Publix next to sunlake high school for 3 years, and she couldn’t believe how they handled the entire situation when I mentioned it to her. This is not your typical Publix customer service you would expect. I have ordered 2 cakes since this experience for birthdays/events, and I choose to now go to the Publix on collier parkway instead. It’s only an extra 5 minute drive and they treat you way better at this location. They have also never gotten any of my orders wrong and I have lived in land o lakes my entire life. I will never be buying another cake from the Livingston location."
