"The price I agreed to was much less than the total once work was completed because they failed to mention that the initial computer diagnostics would be added on. When presenting the cost for approval of work, it needs to be made clear what is being quoted. In my case, my wife was 3 hours away from home and the work needed to be done. However, it feels like shady business practices not to be upfront with the total cost. Speaking with my local Firestone dealer, he said that they would never add the computer analysis into the final bill if the work was performed onsite."
