"Best massage ever! For the past few years, every massage has been held to the standard set by Kristian from my previous chiropractor's office. Not anymore! Melody has raised the bar and my expectations. She gives a next-level professional massage. Her knowledge of anatomy is astounding. It's as if she dissects each area, rubs out the pain, brushes away any negative energy, and then moves to the next section. The pressure and touch are whatever you request. She is amazing. Why three stars? At the 50-minute mark… we're done. The ads all say 1 hour or 90 minutes. I went back and checked, and all the ads say 1 hour. Melody explained, "Your appointment is one hour, but the hands-on portion is only fifty minutes. My next appointment is at the top of the hour." It was a masterful use of semantics to explain how the "downtime" between appointments has shifted to come out of "my paid time," not theirs. When I got to the front desk and she asked how it went, I said, "Best massage ever, but I am disappointed it was not an hour as advertised." The receptionist told me, "That's to allow you five minutes to get undressed and another five to get dressed before our next appointment." I had forgotten about the first five minutes because we didn't go back until the top of the hour, but we quit ten minutes early. So It's NOT 50 minutes hands-on… it is only 45. So, using Melody's theory, you buy a gallon of milk containing, but only 3 quarts. You pay for a gallon, you get the gallon jug, and the entire jug (time) is yours, but it's only 3/4 full (45 minutes). Now that I know this, I can do the math. The $70 (3/4) hour now costs me the equivalent of $87.50, or the 90 minutes (oops, 80) for $95 comes out to be about $120. Given the quality of the massage, I did book another, but 90 (80) minutes. I wish I could say this was a first, but no, it's the second time I came across this ruse. Most places can book times other that allow for this without taking away from the time for which you paid good money. I can almost understand the how/why; it's simple, keep appointments on the hour or half hour and let the customer pay for any "dressing time" out of their allotted slot. I don't like it, but my primary issue is with the advertising. Nowhere on the ads does it say anything other than one hour or 90 minutes? Not even a tiny hidden disclaimer. The receptionist said “they’re aware and working on the ad” however, I have my doubts. I will continue to see Melody. She's the best, and setting ad policy is not her job. There are not enough stars to rate Melody properly… she is a Rock Star!"
"We had booked a couple's massage for Friday evening. However, when we arrived, we were told there was some error and they only had one person booked (We made a booking for two), and that they wouldn't be able to provide the massage. We spent 40 minutes traveling one way, only to end up with a bad mood. We had made the booking in advance as not all times suit us. Naturally, there was no suitable time available for us in the near future. If you don't want to waste your time, think twice before visiting this place."
"I got a 90 min massage with Melody and she is fantastic! Really listened to my concerns and focused on the areas I wanted. Perfect pressure and I didn't feel uncomfortable at anytime. The tables are super comfortable and soft. There was a table warmer so you don't get cold. The place is very clean, including the bathroom and the decor in the lobby is modern. The front desk staff were very nice and efficiently check me in and out. They have some really great specials and packages too."
"I received a 90 min massage from Xeni and she was amazing. She relieved tension I had built up from a previous injury which helped gain more mobility/flexibility in my body."
