"I came to Midas to get 4 tires and an alignment. While I was waiting for the car to be done, I didn’t know that they were doing some kind of inspection and found that I needed a cabin filter and an air filter. I asked what the best price was for the filters and I was told $30 for each. Since I was spending around $600 on tires I couldn’t afford to get both so I went with the cabin filter because it was the dirtier one. Before I brought the car in it was running good. I just replaced the spark plugs, power steering pressure hose and battery along with a fuel hose that connects to the air filter. When I came to pick up the car another guy was also getting work done and I noticed that the Manager named Jacob was giving him dirt cheap prices on brake pads and I couldn’t get any better deals on the services I got done. I paid and left, and the next day the car was starting to stall on me, kick back when I was driving and also veering to the right. I didn’t know what happened so I called and spoke to someone who was there and all they said was bring it in and they can check the alignment but nothing else. I decided not to because at that point I didn’t trust them. Today I had to put some power steering fluid in and I decided to do a check under the hood and found that they left one of the hoses not connected to the air filter from the fuel hose. Also the clamp was missing. I’m not a mechanic or anything but I’m not stupid and I know they did that on purpose to make me come back and get more money from me because I am a disabled person who they thought didn’t know anything about cars. This is the second time I’ve had issues with this particular Midas and I will never come back. They are shady and disreputable, and sexist."

"Excellent experience today. After running around all morning in my daughters car trying to get a tire rotation I finally got the help I needed with Jacob. The car is a Ford Escape with swollen aluminum lug nuts. Valvoline could not replace them for me after I had an oil change when I asked for a tire rotation. They sent me to Jacob at Midas. Jacob said it was a common problem with this type of vehicle. Jacob came out to my vehicle when I pulled up and was very professional. He walked around the car and checked the lug nuts. He was able to identify the issue immediately and said he could definitely help me. He brought the car in and replaced all the lug nuts for me. I really appreciated his abilities to identify the issue, resolve, fix and get me out in a timely manner. I will be coming back to Midas in the future. Thanks Jacob!!!!"

"Went for an oil change, added on a tire rotation. My tires were rotated incorrectly, as we knew exactly which tire was on which axle. We had to take the car back to the shop to have them corrected. 2 days later after the inside of our car smelling like gas, we realized that our oil cap was not put back on and oil had been bubbling out of the engine. Jacob had great customer service even with the busy chaos that was going on that day. The service from the mechanic itself is not one I’d recommend. This could have been a costly mistake. Update 11/18: After returning back to Midas the situation was resolved. Jacob sincerely apologized and the oil change was redone. He ordered us a new cap and assured that the appropriate mechanic would be held accountable. Thank you Jacob for being so professional and honest about the situation."
