Coggin Collision At The Avenues

"I recently had the unfortunate experience of using the services of Coggin Collision of the Avenues. To put it bluntly, it was an absolute disaster. From start to finish, the whole process was riddled with incompetence and frustration. Firstly, communication was a nightmare. It took 4 months of back and forth, and by back and forth I mean us calling 90% of the time and them calling us about 10%. Granted, we needed to get approval through our warranty before work could begin. But it really took 4 months! We left message after message wanting to know what was going on since our warranty would expire soon. Between employee turn overs, miscommunications and made up stories, we just received the run around. It was almost as if they really didn’t want our business! After 3 months my husband went in to try to get answers. They were shocked to see him and assured us that they are still waiting on the warranty approval from Coggin Nissan of the Avenues. They claimed it can take at least 60 days to get approval. So my husband called Nissan and spoke with the manager. They had never received any requests from Coggin Collision! Never. It was somehow just neglected for 3 months! Now we are panicking because our warranty is close to expiring, though they assured us that once they got the ok from Nissan Warranty, there was plenty of time. Wrong! One we got the approval we only had 1 month get it all done. Jodi Archer and Dawn at Coggin Nissan really worked to make this come together and get it done fast as Coggin Collision seemed to have no concept of organization or punctuality. Needless to say, I will never be returning to Coggin Collision of the Avenues I and would strongly advise others to steer clear as well. Save yourself the headache and find a body shop who actually knows how to run a business and cares about their customers."

"Terrible communication between the facility and customer. Rude receptionist and even more rude technician name Thomas. This location is a nightmare and it all started with them wanting to cancel my rental reservation with Hertz. The receptionist advised that they use enterprise company and in order to get the full discount benefits I would need to cancel my existing reservation my adjuster insurance representative had made. Save yourself the headache and go to a different location!!!"

"I had a great experience with Coggin Collision at the Avenues! Ana was extremely kind and helpful throughout the process and incredibly responsive when I had questions or wanted to check in on my vehicle. The repairs look phenomenal - you would never know that my car had been damaged."

"I would like to give 5 stars but there were a few small details that were missed. Overall though good service and communication. Everything was done within the estimated timelines and they were easy to deal with. Once we got insurance communication ironed out everything was fast and little to no delays. Had a very large job done on my truck and there were a few very small details missed, they were very quick to resolve and get everything sorted though."
