"This was literally my favorite firestone and the ONLY one I would go to in Jacksonville. I called to make sure my appointment was set and I asked to speak with one of my favorite agents. I was informed rudely by Thomas that that rep was fired and doesn't work there but I needed to be speaking with him anyway. I thought that was a little rude but okay. Fast forward, I drop my vehicle off at 7am today and I'm in a bit of a rush so I may have been a testy and hasty having to take a family member to the hospital in another vehicle. I checked my car in and left, but i called back in around 9am to apologize for my earlier behavior and verify the things I needed to get done would be done. Thomas said they would and he'd call me back in 20 min to let me know totals before any work would be done. Fast forward it's 12:35pm and I haven't heard anything. I call back in and Thomas answers again. I ask about my vehicle and he tells me he is busy and needs to put me on hold. I stared at the phone in disbelief. So I go on hold for a whopping 12 Minutes. When Thomas comes back I reverify my vehicle and asked the status. He tells me everything and says he'll call me back in 5 mins to let me know if they can find a bulb for my head light. I agree and let him go. It is now 1:15pm, no call. I'm pretty sure I won't be returning to this firestone anymore. This has been the worse customer service experience I've receive from firestone as a-whole and this one especially. I am very lenient and relaxed about a lot of things. I don't take things personal and I work in customer service myself so I understand the stresses of the job and clients throughout the day, HOWEVER this just does sit right with me. Every time I've spoken to Thomas it has felt like I was annoying him. And I am without a vehicle today. Which is fine, I will deal with that. But not having any sort of idea if or when my car will be finished is unacceptable and being told I'd be called back or placed on hold for obscene amounts of time is absurd. Never received a call so I called back around 4:25pm and when I say Thomas was absolutely rude and disrespectful. He asked to put me on hold and I declined. I've been placed on hold, promised call backs and received neither all day. He claims to have been calling me all day but I received not one phone call although he repeated my correct number back to me this morning. I'm so upset and then he tells me he isn't going to argue with me, I can pick my car up and get my work done else where. I am blown away. This has to be a twilight zone. He really does not represent firestone and needs to be re-trained. 5:30pm I go to pick up my vehicle. The break light is changed and nothing else was completed. I am visibly mad. Thomas does not greet me, does not apologize for the misunderstanding and does not offer to resolve my issue. He simply says he doesn’t know what happened with the phones numbers and he will give me the suggest maintenance list to have my car fixed. Had I told him during my phone call, he could have fixed it when I called at 4pm. I am heated at this point and I just want to pay and leave but I let Thomas (who happens to be a manger of some sort) that i don’t appreciate the service I received today and feel like it a simple apology would have solved the issue. Acknowledge you messed up. Then to argue with me that I don’t have a firestone card on file when I’ve had a firestone card for at least 3 years now. I will not return to this firestone ever again. As I’m looking at my receipt I realize this isn’t even my address. So now it leads me to wonder if this was all placed under someone elses account with the same name."
"I was told to bring my vehicle in at 7am on the morning of my service. I showed up on time and did not leave until almost 9am. I was only there for a oil change and there was no one else in front of me waiting. On top of my wait of being the first in and still had to wait, I was told that my vehicle needed parts that were recently replaced and brand new. That alone upset me more than my wait time. The mechanic who worked on my car left my vehicle smelling like an ashtray when he was done. I don't know if he smoked in my vehicle while working on it or just the smell alone lingered with him. In the end I do not plan to return to this particular shop at all. I was there on a free oil change voucher from a fund raiser coupon and did not feel welcomed at all."
"I really hate when I don't get good customer service!!!!!!! I went to Firestone on Norwood Ave. to get my tires checked out because my tire light keeps coming on saying that my pressure is low. The technician didn't even check to see if I had leaks or holes!!!!!!!! He just checked my pressure put air in my tires and walked away!!!!!!!! No I am done or anything. In my mind I was thinking hell I COULD HAVE DONE THAT!!!!!!! HELL I JUST DID THAT YESTERDAY!!!!!! So know I am at Lucas Honda, missed a day of work just to make sure my tires are good. SMDH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
