"Since moving to Broward County, I’ve been using Weston Volvo to service my 2015 Volvo XC60. Since going there, the primary service customer service rep has been Juan Salas, not by choice. Today was the final straw of him being disrespectful. For the last several months I’ve been dealing with an oil consumption issue which lead to a formal test with Volvo. The test showed an issue which he said would be forwarded to Volvo for resolution; he never called with an answer, never returned messages and when I came in for my 110,000 mile service he was very condescending in his tone nor did he provide any guidance or answer regarding the oil consumption test results. At this point, I was there to get my car serviced and he was just a point of contact. If I needed a question answered, I would go elsewhere. Small service needs-I would go elsewhere as well rather than deal with him. As normal, he wrote up the service ticket indicating my concerns and indicated he would get back to me with any problems the car had and the estimate. Got there as they were opening, my scheduled appointment; but it wasn’t until I approached him at his desk about an hour into today’s visit did he say he had the estimate. No apology for the delay, just matter of fact. OK, the “matter of fact” part may be his personality, yet as the customer I should feel as though my issues are important and I didn’t. I asked how long to do all the work; Juan Salas responded he would let me know. Another hour and again I had to go to him to find out how much longer for my service to be done. He said it was in the wash and would be brought around soon. I said okay and returns to waiting area. 10 minutes, 20 minutes another 30 minutes and once again I was wondering where the car was. It being a nice day, I walked toward the back area and saw the car was still in the bay being worked on. Hate being lied to. At this point I decided to speak with the Service Manager Nick. Explained the history and my experience today. Nick listened and addressed my concerns. He made me feel as though Weston Volvo valued my business and my car was properly fixed. Don’t blame Weston Volvo service department but will never allow Juan Salas to have anything to do with my vehicle or me… At the end of the day, I spent three hours for a regular service visit which included an oil change, new battery and change of two bulbs… thanks to the Service Manager Nick for turning a real bad experience (lost customer) to giving Weston Volvo department another chance."
