Of course, it was a Saturday afternoon, but they squeezed me in to replace my tire immediately. I called them at 1:40, they close at 3:00, and they got me in and out in under a hour. "First and foremost, I have always had quality service at Mercedes Benz - Fort Myers. After requiring roadside assistance to jump box my 2017 AMG GLE 43 SUV, it became apparent that both my starter battery and the auxiliary battery would need to be replaced. In contacting the service department, they indicated I could come in immediately. I did verify with the parts department that both batteries were available and subsequently reserved for me. Upon arrival, I left the vehicle running in fear that it would not start again and to facilitate getting the vehicle in. I was greeted quickly and professionally by Christopher Coleman who prepared the estimate. The work would be completed in 2.5 hours. The work was actually completed in 1.75 hours. Naturally I was pleased by how quickly things were addressed and I was home well before I thought I would be. I trust that because Mercedes Benz is a luxury brand, the best quality and correct parts are being used. Having work done at the dealership is always more expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. The one recommendation I would have is that the estimate and final invoice should disclose if labor costs are being charged via a flat rate, an hourly rate or both. The costs of the labor on a total invoice of $1,173.13 was $574.76. I have no idea how that was calculated. I am not disputing this charge, just looking for more transparency into how that was derived. Thanks again for turning a very stressful morning into a resolved experience and me leaving with the confidence my vehicle was fully and properly serviced."
