"One of my favorite fishing places depending on what time of the year you can catch almost anything there a different species at different months throughout the year the sharks even make their way there in the summer. I've gotten really nice sized snook, snapper - [multiple types], toad fish, rock fish, mackerel, lady fish, sheepshead, reds, and everybody's worst enemy sale cats there but I've seen much more than that swimming around in the water below the bridge. I've always fished it at night but I want to try to fish it during the day I'm sure it's a lot different. And it's a good place to catch bait there's plenty of ballyhoo and other bait fish that you can catch right off the bridge with a throw net."

"I've been coming here since I was a kid (I'm born and raised here) the fishing is usually pretty good and you can take some really good shots of sunsets here. There's a bait shop within walking distance of the bridge (Seven Seas Bait and Tackle) to get live shrimp or pinfish. You can catch a variety of different fish here from snapper, snook, trout, redfish, black drum, catfish, tarpon and even shark. After they updated the bridge a few years back it's a lot nicer here, they added restrooms ect. Definitely a nice spot to come fish."
