Reviews of Tesla Service Center
"Been twice now, great experience both times. One time over a year ago for a tire and then recently for a low volt battery replacement and PSI gauge. Easy and good"
"I can’t give them 5 stars unfortunately and here’s why. The good: I drove from Virginia to Florida and I pull up to a supercharger and it won’t charge. That sucks…I drove to the service center and they took my car in without an appointment. I very much appreciated that. They were able to get my car fixed…eventually. The less good: They did not have a loaner when I dropped off my car, okay that’s fine. I didn’t know how long it would take and neither did they to get everything fixed. I dropped it off on Thursday, by Monday afternoon they got the diagnostics done. Charge port needed replacing and the clicking noise from the front was steering rack bolts being loose. Okay, yes expensive but needs to be done. Part wasn’t in stock and it had to be order from California they said it would be ready by the end of the week. Cool! Part was delayed through FedEx until Monday afternoon. Okay, not their fault but I had to borrow a car to drive down there and get an explanation as the messages in the App did not really give me an answer as to what was taking so long. Monday comes around and I drove down again and talk to service manager…really nice guy, answered all my questions and explained the whole situation. He offered me a loaner after not having one for 10 days now. He asked me if I had asked for a loaner again during my stay in Florida. To be fair, I didn’t but honestly…I feel that the service center should have reached out to me as soon as they got one in to loan to me, I don’t believe it is the responsibility of the customer to request that given that the majority of the cars there had Florida plates and Mike had a Virginia one. I finally get the car back after 11 days and yes everything works, they did the job correctly. The inconvenience of having to stay in Florida longer was not entirely their fault but the lack of communication until the end of the stay really did not leave me impressed with their customer service. Also the original estimate said the steering rack bolts would be replaced, they were only tightened (not a big deal but hey…new parts are always better). I would have preferred to have the bill lowered a bit due to the whole situation, at least waiving the diagnostic fee for the two loose steering rack bolts or really anything to help. The labor costs could have been adjusted…really anything. Free Tesla mug maybe? To summarize, everyone was nice and the job got done but how I was handled as a customer that was put into a not so great situation with the delays left more to be desired. Love the car and I appreciate that they got it back on the road as fast as they could but customer service could use some more work."
"I bought a brand new 2023 MYP and within the first 200 miles all cameras go black, autopilot doesn’t work nothing. The next service appointment was 10 days out. So I have to sit with my Tesla that has no features, no park assistance no cameras nothing for 10 days. That’s more of Tesla in general for poor delegation. Like someone was there the same day as me for a “clicking steering wheel”. Don’t you think someone with a brand new Tesla and having the issues I have should be put to the front? Now as for service center itself. The knowledge and customer service of this service center is severely lacking. I walk in for my service appointment and they just let you stand there and act as though you’re bothering their chill session in their chair by being there. I list off all the things wrong with my Tesla and another service advisor steps in and is like that’s normal. One of the things he said was normal was my battery dying 5% a day without being plugged in or any extra features on. I want to be clear this isn’t a technician but a service advisor, the person who books your appointment. I get his knowledge would be lacking but why spread false information if you’re representing Tesla? My 23 MYP was draining 20 miles or so a day from nothing and he tells me that’s normal. I get the MYP back after the bugs in the firmware were fixed (by a technician) and now it drains 2-3 miles a day or 1%. Which that IS normal and I knew that. Another issue I brought my 23 MYP there for was for the wireless charger not working. I pick up my car and the charger still doesn’t work and they have to reschedule a mobile service appointment to fix that now. Why not fix it there? It must of magically stopped working. I understand they are busy but it’s not acceptable customer service by the slightest. The firmware bug was fixed and that was the main thing but overall I really pray I don’t have to go back to this service center."
"Update, they reduced the charge. This service center is falling apart like Tesla in general. As an early adopter of Tesla, I typically have had good experiences. My car is now out of warranty so the company no longer stands by their car. They have had my Model S for over 3 weeks and finally said they don’t know what’s wrong with it. It randomly just doesn’t start. The charge for having my car for 3 weeks without fixing it was $600. I would have bought a Cyber truck or another Tesla if the had a recycle program for current owners, but this company seems to be a sinking ship and the cyber truck another Elon pipe dream."
"I typically don’t write reviews but I have had it with this service center. They treat you like a number and don’t take care of your car. I took my car in (yet again) for more rattles. My car had just been detailed and this is how it was returned to me. I have never owned a car that is not washed after service. If they don’t have a car wash they should at least take the time to clean up after themselves or put protection plastic in place. This is unacceptable. Unless Vincento is there do not leave your car with these careless animals. I don’t care if it’s the only center in town. I will gladly show my face there when I need to and tell them to their face how sloppy they are. Is this what you consider “spec” dirt all over your car. Shame on you! Oh and I have a video of it in front of your service center when it was dropped off showing how it was left because I’ve now learned that you all just don’t care."
