"The best. They did my entire new beach house. And my 50k square foot office building. I'll post pics later. Great people. Super nice and professional."
"I'm so impressed with the work that HavenHome did for me that I'm not quite sure where to start! First, Michael Mastry is one of the most creative people that I've ever met and his enthusiasm, passion, and talent for interior design and architecture really shows. Second, his team is so hard working and dedicated to ensuring that each client has a remarkable experience. Third, Michael's process ensures that clients know every intricate detail of what they are doing from the selections to the budget to the ETA's of product arrival, and finally to the delivery to your home. The communication is great, the quality is top notch, and the overall customer experience is beyond five stars. For me, Michael and his team handled all the interior decorating: furniture, accessories, lighting, window treatments, countertops, cabinets, backsplash, etc. They also designed the entire outdoor living space and backyard. Aside from making my home incredibly beautiful, I also had to have two appraisals done on the home within three months of each other. The first appraisal was done before HavenHome's work and the second was after delivery and setup. The appreciation on my home between those two appraisals was greater than the cost of the project. In short, Michael and his team don't just make your home look incredible - they add value to the biggest investment most of us make. I'm so happy with their work and I strongly recommend HavenHome."
"Michael Mastry and his team did a 2 part project for my home. It consisted of a cosmetic remodel and all new Funiture (Furniture, art and accessory decor). I refer to the remodel as “cosmetic” because we did not move plumbing or main walls but the result feels like an entirely new house. Every surface was touched. We remodeled all bathrooms and the kitchen with new cabinetry, appliances, counters and tile. I used a contractor I already had a good relationship with and Michael Team made even more efficient. The journey was longer than I expected but in the end it was well worth the wait. The initial meetings consisted of layout concepts in a 3D rendering (which I loved and needed) and also included budget ranges for what he felt was appropriate for each room based on the scope of work we initially discussed. I did go over that budget at my discretion and I appreciated Michael (in a very charming way) reminding me I was adding items not included in the original scope. The furniture phase was enlightening. I appreciate good quality Funiture and I emphasized I want modern yet comfortable. Michael achieved this with flying colors. His ability to customize furniture pieces with bespoke fabrics that flowed with the art and the color scheme was exceptional. He also has an exceptional ability to arrange furniture in a way that I never could have imagined. In the end my home feel larger, more inviting, modern and comfortable while still being “me”. I enjoy it everyday. I recommend you hire them."
"My husband and I contacted Havenhome on the recommendation of a work colleague as we had just moved to St. Petersburg and bought a house that we planned to remodel. We met with the owner, Michael Mastry, whom we liked very much and felt shared our vision for our house. We subsequently signed a design contract with HavenHome, where the company was to provide CAD/architectural drawings, material selections and contractor quotes. We paid HavenHome a 50% deposit. Following our first meeting with Kyle, our assigned designer, we were very excited by the designs and materials that were presented and so we paid HavenHome the remaining 50% balance, per our contract. It was after this meeting however, that we were informed the cost of the design & materials was 3x the budget we had communicated to Michael prior to signing the contract. It was later revealed that Michael never informed his design associate Kyle, of our budget. We were extremely frustrated and disappointed but having already paid a lot of money to HavenHome we tried to salvage the relationship. We started the project again, reworking the design and materials to fit within our budget. However, we encountered nothing but problems and delays. The contractor quote was incomplete; HavenHome also severed their relationship with the kitchen cabinet company and despite using a new company could never provide an accurate kitchen design. We got to the point where all we wanted was the CAD drawings so that we could take the design to a different contractor. We made repeated requests for the CAD drawings for our remodel and each time was rebuffed with various excuses. At first we were told that the file was corrupted and would have to be redrawn. Then we were promised it within days, but then the design associate went on vacation for two weeks. It had been seven months and we still did not have any usuable design plans. Out of exasperation and frustration, we formally ended our relationship with HavenHome. We asked for our money back. Instead, we received a threatening letter from their lawyer informing us that we potentially owed HavenHome more money. We paid HavenHome $21,000 for their design services. We still have not received any of the professional design plans that we were promised or that HavenHome was contractually obligated to provide. Attached are pictures of what we did receive from HavenHome. You can decide if it is worth the money, to us it seemed comparable to what our elementary school aged children could draw. We considered suing HavenHome, but because of some unexpected, and potentially life threatening health issues, we have needed to focus our energies elsewhere. I would caution anyone against using HavenHome. This has been the worst customer experience we have ever had and an absolute waste of time and money. We are upset that we even have to give them one star so that we can post this review."
"I was looking for a new couch and decided to stop by HavenHome to check out their collection. I found a really nice love seat with the help of Michael, the owner, and was able to customize it with one of the multiple fabrics they offer. My house is in Old Northeast, and they were able to work with me to find something that fits in my living room, which can be hard considering the size of the space. My son and I couldn't be happier with our updated furnishings."
