"I went there to check a sound in the AC fan, but they inspected the tires and brake system. I appreciate about their recommendation regarding the tires but I figured out they don't know anything about AC!!! they advised me to replace most of the cooling system. It was a bad experience and it was better to tell the customer if they don't have experience regarding their car issue instead of just charging them for inspection only."

"Jeffrey and the rest of their team took great care of us. We were stranded, from out of town, over new years weekend. They were the only place that answered the phone on Saturday morning. They would do what they could to get us out by Monday, which was new years day. We were able to make the 8 hour drive and get back to work the next day, thanks to Pep Boys"

"Made an appointment for tires. Once I got there they wanted me to leave the car overnight. For tires. Apparently because the tech left. So they waited until I got there to inform me of the issue. As in after other tire places have closed. Would have been able to go somewhere else if they had informed me. As someone with very little time outside of work this is an issue as I now don't have time to get this done"

"If you ever want to go in here to patch your tire forget it, they are going to try their best to sell you a new tire instead of patching an older one. This push sales mentality takes their whole credibility out for me. Besides, it doesn’t matter the size of the whole that needs to be patched, even if it is the smallest one possible they will still say “the whole is too big, gotta buy a new tire, can’t fix it unless buy new tire”"

"This store on L B McLeod Rd in Orlando was my favorite go to place I preferred and trusted more than the dealer. I was a regular customer for them for last 4 years. However my recent visit has changed my perception as I feel the front desk staff seem to not care for the customers any more. They don’t even care for the issues with the car and are happy doing just entry level work like oil change. I called up this store on 10/4 to make an appointment for oil change and also narrated a problem with my car air conditioning vent that wrongly directed air on my feet when it’s not supposed to (knob turned to blow air on face only). The lady on the phone said, “tell us about the issues when you drop off the car”. I was okay with it so got an appointment for Friday (10/6). When I dropped off the car this morning (10/6), I narrated the issue with my car’s air conditioner. The person who took the keys from me acknowledged all of it and said they will look at it. They were in a hurry not to even ask if I would like conventional oil or synthetic, may be they assumed something. When I asked how long they are going to need, I was told 3 hours, it was 9 AM that time. I needed the car back by 3:30 PM for school pickup. I got a call back after 1 PM telling me my car needed front tires. I returned the call and told them I don’t want the tires to be installed and asked about the air conditioner issue, I was told by the front desk lady that she will have someone look at it and she will call me back. I called her again around 2:45 PM asking for the same thing, she again reassured me that they are looking into it and she will call me back very quickly. I told her I needed the car back by 3:30 PM, to which she agreed to get back to me quickly after talking to the technician who is checking that problem. Since I didn’t get any call back, I had to make alternate arrangement for my son’s school pickup and after that I reached the service center at 4:10 PM. When I enquired about me not getting back any calls, she simply says she has been on the calls the whole day(as if that justifies their lack of communication and lack of following their commitments) and then she came out with me to the car telling me that NOBODY has looked at the air conditioner issue till now and she was checking it at that time in front of me. She got offended when I asked why no one listened, when it was the main issue and communicated multiple times and why was I given false picture that the technician was looking at it. She went on to preach me how I should have not mixed the two things (oil change and the A/c repair) and should have instead gotten the vehicle to them only for the A/c repairs, thus putting the blame back on me for they not doing their job right. When I said I didn’t want to make another appointment for the A/c, she simply drops the key fob in the cup holder and started walking back to store yelling at me to “have a good day”. I was shocked at her reaction and asked how do I pay for the oil change, how much was my bill etc. She simply waived hand briefly looking at me saying again loudly “HAVE A GOOD DAY!”. I was blown with the attitude issues of them making mistakes, blaming customers and then not being courteous enough to talk nicely to end the conversation well. As if they don’t need the customers anymore. I hate finding another car repair center but I guess I have to. I don’t think I would like to be treated like I was. Beware, they have too many vehicles and too much work may be that they have stopped caring for the customers."
