"Honest people, great service and my Volkswagen Passat is running great. If you need a good mechanic with a fair price. This is my choice."
"For a little over a month my truck jumped from 3 mechanics and 2 dealerships with no luck. R Car was my last hope and they had my truck back to normal in 2 days!!! Just in time for christmas! Definitely will come back for any other mechanical needs!"
"I brought my car here after someone told me how great they were. That wasn't the case with my experience. My first visit was due to my car not staying running, and having a dead cylinder. After agreeing to pay $800+ for them to open my engine to find the problem, a pushrod was re-seated, and a broken ground was re-attached. Nothing was done to fix the dead cylinder. I was told that it would drive good enough to get me where I needed to go, but I needed to buy an engine wiring harness to fix the problem, (or allow a proper diagnosis). Trip #1: $948.97 later, my car remained incapable of proper functioning. I searched for the miracle harness to fix all of my problems, but was unable to find one anywhere. So I rebuilt the one I had; replacing each wire, and replacing any bad connectors. My car still didn't run properly. It still had a dead cylinder. So I took it back. Over a week later, I stopped by to see what the diagnosis was. I was told that the mechanic hadn't checked it out yet, because the harness wasn't replaced with a new one. A few days later, I got a call saying that he checked it out, and the harness was fixed, but the problem was either my camshaft or my lifters. My lifters had just been replaced, so I asked if there was anything else it could be. I was quickly told that this was the only thing the mechanic believed it could be, and the total would be $3,200 at most, and only if both needed replaced. So I agreed. Roughly a week later, I got a call saying it was fixed, and the knock was gone... but the cylinder was still dead. I was also informed that the total went up over $900 because he chose to replace my pushrods (without my approval). Since this trip didn't fix it, he finally did a compression check. Then I was told that it's definitely a burnt piston seal, and the piston needs replaced. The car is now sitting in my driveway, with a dead cylinder, and now a busted coolant line, where it was rerouted wrong. Trip #2: $4,112.10 later, my engine knock is gone, but my car is still incapable of properly functioning. Summary: $5,061.07 later, and my car is still undriveable. R car wants another $4,000+ to replace another part, and assured me that it's definitely this part (just like the last repair was definitely going to fix it.) If you're experience was better than mine, then good for you; But I will never refer anyone to this mechanic."
"I had a wonderful experience with R Car. They have great customer relations. My car was serviced at a very reasonable price. Will return."
"Took my truck to a different shop 3 times and then to the Chevy dealership. Same exact problem each time, the dreaded intermittent misfire! Dealership had it 10 days before calling to say “ we can’t figure it out “! R Car fixed it in 2days ! I love these people…. Thanks"
