"Twice in the past week or so I've stopped in to pick up simple items since it's conveniently located to a weekly appointment. On both visits, I was completely ignored while staff helped others. I have a ton of retail experience, so I know the correct way they should've handled the situation. They did not acknowledge me in any way. They should've said, at the very least, " Hi, someone will be right with you". I was parts manager at several different motorcycle shops over the years and if you're helping someone with a complicated project searching for parts, checking availability, etc, it wouldn't have shocked or upset anyone if I had simply said " do you mind if I take a moment just to ring this person out for the one item that they're holding in their hands." Nine times out of 10 the other patron who has a project going on would happily step aside and allow the transaction to proceed. So there's that. But that would be what I would consider going above and beyond in a place like Napa. The basic fundamental customer service is completely lacking there. As a result, on my second visit to purchase one simple item, I put it back on the shelf and walked out the door never to return. Now, I know they're not going to miss my simple purchases, but since I have a fleet of seven older vehicles that constantly need "something" , I have no intention of continuing to waste my time trying to patronize this location. The one in Dade City isn't very good either. As they say NAPA stands for never any parts of available! It could also stand for customer service won't be a thing either."
"Great service with folks who are eager to help when asked."
"I have not been to Napa in years and now I really again know why I visited the location today went in there was three people working the counter one female two males the female was heading out to deliver some part but at least she greeted me the other two gentlemen stood on the left hand side behind a rack talking for a couple minutes eventually I had to ask them which oil was the best for my vehicle I told the gentleman I just had eye surgery on my left eye and my right eye is also affected do you think that he would go out of his way to assist absolutely not I kept asking where items were instead of him walking around showing me he just kept saying no step back go forward move left move right how hard would it be for him to just walk out from behind the counter and just show you where the items are I know I'm not a female and usually males are supposed to know exactly where and how to find things which I do 99% of the time but because of my vision issues I really needed the help this is again the reason why I will not come to a Napa the only reason I did this time was because it was on the same road as my doctor This building here seems always have people who just don't really care they are just there for paycheck their attitude really sucks and probably without deliveries they would not be in business"
"This places customer service over the phone is absolutely appalling. The first time I called a woman answered and asked if I could hold for "a moment." I obliged. After 15 minutes on hold I hung up and called back. The same woman answered and asked if I could hold for a moment and as I tried to say, "no," I was placed on hold anyway. I waited another 6 minutes, hung up and called back. This time a man answered and asked me to hold and I quickly said, "no, I've been on hold for over 20 minutes." He responded along the lines of, "I'm the only one here and I've got people in the store. You have to hold," and that's what he does. I held another 5 minutes before hanging up and calling back irately. Yes, I swore, I didn't name call or say anything outright offensive, but yes, I cussed. If I could drive down there I would, but I've got a car on 3 wheels and need a hub. You've got to go back and forth from phones to in-store customers. Having people call in to be told they prioritize in-store customers and phone customers have to wait indefinitely is not good customer service by any standard. Being lied to is not good customer service. Two people answered the phone and the man kept telling me he's the only employee there currently. That's a lie. I've worked retail, it's easy to get overwhelmed, but you still have to balance the phones and the people in-store."
"So went in there last week and again today to grab something. Now this time they did not have what I needed but the gentleman came out from behind the counter and asked if he could help me find anything. Always good service"
