"I've been here a few times with different vehicles and different maintenance or repair needs. They've always been honest and quite fairly priced. They take the time to answer questions. I've never been charged more than the original quote, and I've never been upsold on anything that's not necessary. This shop has been great to me and other family members that go here as well. I've been to a handful of shops. For the price, there are only 2 I trust for honesty and quality. This is definitely 1 of them!"
"I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had my Jeep towed there after my clutch disengaged while I was driving it (they were close to where I broke down). It was running perfectly prior to that. After they replaced the clutch, I picked it up and the A//C wasn't working (which was blasting cold air before I brought it to them). I brought it back for them to see if maybe they did something to it during the clutch install. They said it wasn't their fault, charged me $45 to look at it and quoted nearly $400 to fix the ac/c. I picked it up again without fixing the A/C, and as I left, I realized the gears were shuttering when I shifted and it was difficult to shift into the gears, so I brought it back again. and of course, they said it wasn't their fault and that it must need a tune up, or there is something else wrong with it. So, to me, it seems more plausible that this just isn't a very good auto shop that doesn't back up their own work....., as opposed to believing that my perfectly running vehicle had 3 major unrelated things instantly go wrong at the same time, despite that fact that there was no previous indications of anything being wrong with my vehicle (except the disengaged clutch) prior to it being in their shop. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I have some serious doubts.....use at your own risk! UPDATE: So I went to pick my vehicle up so they could check to see if the clutch (that he installed a week ago) was why my gears shuttered when shifting and it was hard to get in gear. Not only did he say the "new" problem is unrelated, but he tried to charge me $100 to check his work. Then when I questioned the chances of 3 unrelated issues occurring at the same time...... this motherfu(ker threatened me to the point of having to have his employees hold him back!! Now I have more than just doubts about this place.....this guy is a crook! UPDATE 2: I took my vehicle to another mechanic. not only was my vehicle fixed for $150 (almost the price this crook tried to charge to diagnose the problem), but they also said it looked like the back of my A/C discharge hose was cut with a straight edge razor, and that the misfiring was from a loose spark plug! RESPONSE TO OWNER: I offered to pay the $100 (after you threatened to keep my vehicle) that you tried to charge me to diagnose the problem.......even though I didn't ask you to diagnose anything, but you handed me the key and told me to "get of off your shop". Then after your secretary told you I hadn't paid, I offered to pay again......but your response was "he needs to get out". So don't act like I'm the one who is the crook here. You also seemed proud that your shop doesn't need new customers due to the fact that you have so many "loyal repeat customers". Having repeat customers as a mechanic simply means you don't ever really fix their problems, and if you do, you break something else ensuring they have to come back......which seems to be exactly what you tried to do to me. And I didn't even ask you to diagnose anything in the first place. I called your secretary to describe the problems i was having with the clutch you installed after picking it up the second time, and she told me it sounded like it could be a clutch, that it was under warranty if it was, and to bring by so you could look at it. Look at the clutch....not perform a diagnostic so you had an excuse as to why it wasn't the clutch you installed the week prior. And....why would you say "its under warranty, but don't bring it here WHEN the clutch goes bad", if you didn't already think it was bad? And did you not test drive it and run a diagnostic after installing the clutch? Why would you tell me it was fixed and ready to pick up if the engine was misfiring after your clutch repair? This man is not only a sub par mechanic, but a dishonest crook, and I'll say it again....use at your own risk!! Also....I notice that some of the people leaving good reviews on here, actually work there. Go figure!"
"You know one that truck is not a northen truck it was a florida truck and 2 u never showed us engie test. 3 we got water out of it and told your guy someone poured water in it and know it drove over 1600 miles and no water period. And shop here said nothen wrong with that engie. And 4 yes your guy did tell my husband was not worth fixing. So no I don't appreciate being lied to. And u did charge me over 289 bucks nothen was free. The truck is fine. If u did engine test it failed cause we found out the converters were clog. The truck doing just fine. And the people park put water in it were caught."
"Asked them to fix a break line. I went to pick up my truck, and they said I had water in my oil and my heads were blown. I asked why you didn't change the oil as requested. They said it wasn't worth it. I took the truck home and changed the oil. Then, I drove it 800 miles because I was moving to another state. I noticed that no water was missing out of my radiator and no water in the oil. You ask why I chanced driving the truck so far. Mostly no choice, and when I drove it back from the mechanic, I was missing no water from my radiator. Come to find out someone put water in my oil. Now could have been the park I lived in or the repair shop. The repair shop offered to buy my truck. It is a v10 dodge lifted. They did repair my brakes, ok. But at 200 bucks, a hr. It was only a break line that ran through a C channel. I would find another shop to go to. Unless you like false diagnosis."
"My go to car repair shop in Tampa. They have great rates on their repairs and truly care for their people. Locally owned. I’ve coming here for almost 2 years now and even though I’ve moved farther away I’ll continue to make the drive. They are usually booked up so be prepared to wait usually a week out for repairs but that’s because they are busy for the reason stated above."
