He built, painted it to order and hand delivered it to me in less than a week from talking to him. Price was half of what Monster Transmission was and I never had to involve the credit card company to get my money back (like I did with Monster). Been running the trans for a couple months and it runs great, no issues. 100% recommend."

"The transmission I purchased did not work properly from the start, $740 at a local shop, Circle D Transmission in Houston, to make it work by going in the valve body. Now after sending it back to lizard transmissions, they claimed to take it apart and it was fine. I got it back shifting worse. Took it to another local shop who has taken it apart to find out it is not what I bought at all, buyers beware. Stock rotor not billet, no zpack clutches, assembled all wrong, pump wore out from the rotor not even fitting . This guy is a crook"

"Great experience with Lizard Transmissions. Joe built a TH350 for my Chevy II. Transmission shipped quickly and was very well packaged. Installed it last weekend and it's working great. Stall speed on the converter seems lower than the 2200 advertised, but it will work for now. No leaks and included a nice kick down cable. Joe explained everything well and he builds a nice transmission."
