Reviews of Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting
"***READ AND HEED*** I got my 95 Silverado painted here. Talked to Brandon and explained what I wanted: The best paint job they offer, door jambs painted, hail damage removed from hood and roof, basically no dents and I was going black so I didnt want to see any Green which was the previous color. I picked my truck up in the rain and at night so it was hard to tell what the black paint job looked like. I also opted to go with one of their spray in bed liners as well. The next day in the light, hood looks great, roof has hail damage stil. Brand new rear bumper that was black has grey overspray all over it. Brand new front grill black has smudgy finger prints in grey that will not wash off. Front right wheel, brand new wheels, 3 big drops of what I assume is primer. Still see green in the wheel wells and god forbid they open the gas cap door and paint it so it's not flashin green when I get gas. The bed liner is thin, super thin. Big roller mark on the wheel well, the rest looks spray in but not that. Then there's the seam between the bed floor and the side of the bed. A good bit of the seam was missing on the driver side, thought being a body shop and they were putting in a bedliner that they would address that but nope, didnt even mention it and left the gaps where it was missing. I was told to wait 90 days to clean it to allow for the paint to cure and dont put anything in the bed of the truck for that long to allow it time to cure. I picked my truck up on 11/8/24 and last week one day I moved a HP office printer from one office to another, maybe a 25 lb printer. When I slid it out of the back of my truck it gouged out scratches in the "bed liner" to where I could see green. I took it back today to talk to Brandon, showed him the overspray on the bumper, he rubbed the bumper and said nothing. I showed him the bed liner and he said hold on let me get my guy, dont remember his name but we will call him Brick Wall. Brick comes out to see the bed liner and is like what did you put in here. I told him and he said this didnt happen to mine and I have put cinder blocks in mine. Then tried to tell me that I put stuff in the bed too soon. I asked about the seam in the bed and he said oh well seam sealer is expensive I would have had to charge you more. I was like cool story why didnt anyone call while it was here getting the work done and say man it'd look a lot better with this seam sealed. Back to the bed liner Brick just kept repeating I just dont see how this happened. Finally since Brick was stalling I said well beisdes that it happened what can we do about it. Brick's solution was to have Brandon charge me labor for them to touch up the scratches in the bed liner. What about the next scratch and the next? Are you freaking kidding me?? The bedliner job clearly failed if a 25lb printer being slid out the back of the truck 90 days after the bedliner was put in scratched it down to the old green paint. I was clearly told this was under the same warranty as the paint job but now Brandon says oh no theres no warranty on the bed liner. Bottom line is not much went right on this and when problems were presented they were not interesed in honoring their word, their work, or their products. They were not even interested in salvaging the customer relationship, just interested in charging me more money or getting me out of there. If you have read this and you still choose to go there and have work done,,, This review will haunt you."
"This is the best Maaco you will ever visit!!!! Tom/Beth the owners are the best people around. Brandon & Allen make the place 5 stars for me. I have had over 10 paint jobs done by their team and each time its better than the last. They actually care about the work they do and turn out some of the best paint jobs for the money you spend."
"09 toyota tacoma before and after pictures. The truck was done perfectly well and I chose to go with oem paint and the extra layer of clear coat. Worth the price and wait. Now my truck is perfect and has a 5 year warranty on the paint. I will go back to this shop when I need to finish another project! Everyone there deserves credit but the manager Brandon answered all my questions and made sure the truck was done correct and on time"
"These guys were so awesome and professional. I can’t say enough good things about them. It’s a locally owned franchise but with great prices at professional skills. They painted the hood of my vehicle, and it turned out perfectly. I was quoted more than double by other shops, including Qmar in Tarpon Springs that botched a previous job then price gouged me. (STAY AWAY FROM QMAR!). Thank you so much guys! I will definitely be using you from now on! I want the owner to know what a great team he has supporting him!!"
