"What a savior this place was. I was driving from Pensacola to Tampa (home) on I-10 when out of nowhere, my engine started knocking and stopped accelerating on the interstate. I called 3 places in Crestview who were booked and couldn't see me. Finally called Mack's and was told they were also booked solid but would try and help me out since I was travelling. I was able to hobble it to Mack's, where it was diagnosed as a faulty engine that currently has a recall and a lawsuit out against it (gotta love Kia's). I was visibly distressed (30yo female solo traveler) and Mack's went above and beyond trying to accommodate the best they could with the circumstances. They told me I could spend as much time as I needed there working everything out. They also researched my car's warranty/recalls and gave me the number to call to contact Kia. I spent the next 3 hours there on the phone with Kia scheduling towing, rental car, and engine replacement. Mrs. Diane (sweetest woman I have ever met) who works the front desk came to me numerous times offering me drinks or snacks (I'm a type 1 diabetic). She was just the best! Many thanks to Ashton and the other employees I worked with as well. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and very helpful. I could have easily been told by a different mechanic that I needed a new engine and if someone tried to sell me one I probably would have paid whatever it cost out of desperation to get home. I am thankful for Mack's honesty and transparency during one of the most stressful moments of my life. It's not easy to find a fair, reputable, and kind mechanic....so I was very lucky to find them in my time of need! Thanks again guys!"
