"I once met the owner of the Presidente supermarket which is at 3001 NW 17th Ave Miami Florida. A supervisor named Miriam introduced him to me. He is a very kind and polite person, and the employees who work inside the store are also very polite. But today I witnessed a scene that outraged me. A man named Juan who collects the carts outside treated a woman very badly around 10:25 AM. She was wearing a scarf on her head and spent a long time talking to the security guard. 10:51AM I went and complained to the supervisor, and in front of her he insulted me, calling me a crazy old woman who goes where she was not called. This is not the first time I have seen this man speaking rudely to people in the parking lot too, I have already seen him do the same thing. It is very disappoints to know that this happens inside a supermarket and surely the owner does not know how his customers are being treated."
"It is deeply troubling to learn about the unjust and discriminatory actions taken by Presidente towards one of its employees. Firing an employee solely because of her pregnancy is not only morally wrong but also a clear violation of federal law designed to protect the rights and well-being of pregnant individuals in the workplace. The abrupt termination, allegedly in response to the employee's pregnancy news, is a flagrant display of discrimination. Such behavior has no place in any professional setting, and it is disheartening to hear about this unfortunate incident. It is essential for businesses to adhere to the principles of fairness, equality, and legality in their employment practices. Discrimination in any form should be condemned, and those affected by such actions should seek the necessary legal recourse to protect their rights and dignity. In summary, the reported actions of Presidente in firing an employee due to her pregnancy are deeply troubling and unacceptable. Discrimination has no place in the workplace, and it is crucial for businesses to uphold the values of equal treatment and respect for all employees."
