Reviews of Presidente Supermarkets
"Always got what I need.I love these stores"
"Came in at 745am to shop groceries.so while my daughter did her shopping I decided to take a number in the cafeteria section there was a man with a blue shirt and another lady no sense of urgency I had number #12 screen had #5 that tells you how slow this two employees where.gave me enough time observe that the where handling food and money at no time did they have gloves nor did they wash there hands another employee came in started serving herself didnt wash hands no hair net to the point I got tired of waiting and seeing things that is not proper hygiene I decided not to buy anything a customer asked the employee for them to get more help since we were all waiting along time due too language barrier went into deaf ears Note Managerment train your ppl better and atleast have a bilingual person in that area since it's very busy"
"President’s supermarket you can’t never been save at 745 nw 183 st with employees and managers they’ are scammers and robbery.and very rude. On the Wednesday 22nd a before thanksgiving day i went for groceries shoes there my wallet felt you won’t believe a young Latino man as one of the employees picked up my wallet and toke $192 from my wallet and turn back the wallet in customer Service and they know that the employee took the money I request to play the camera and the manager said the person will have access was in there and I called the police you won’t believe when the officer play the camera the next day the manager deleted the evidence the video and I believe the manager herself took the money from the employee threatened the employee that you took the money I saw you in the camera but I am Angelet the evidence about you and me the money because that’s on people who just come who don’t speak English so even so I said that was my like money they still took the money anyways all the beginning of the video the only part of the office I was able to see is Wendy and me DMD while it I will and advise y’all be very careful up there when you go to Presidente supermarket because they can’t do anything and that’s not the first time I left my meat at president day when I get back the next day they took it and Minnie customer told me that happened to them to watch yourself when you’re around Presidente supermarket yeah a scammer they don’t care about nobody they don’t care about no customer"
"Many pricetags missing, I thought that as a store in a lower GDP area the prices would be better generally but they weren't except off brands. Badia spices were a better price, but not any of the other items I was looking for. Veggies were good quality, but most still overpriced."
"This place reminds me of going shopping to a "supermarcado" in Costa Rica. If you really love cheap food with brand names you can't pronounce, it's heaven. It's a Latin-flavored market, similar to Aldi's European cheap brands. Presidente is loaded with all of the Caribbean produce and goods, from cassava and papayas to weird cuts of meats and poultry used in stewing and curries. They have a great selection of cheap wines and beers, including Three Horses--an old favorite. I really go there for three things: Conchita brand coconut water--unsweetened at $1.79 cents a can (I buy it by the case), cheap beer and cheap cigars (Don Felo, New Cuba)."
