"Store is the worse, I used the ATM at the store and it gave me a $20 taped together, and the store would not take it. It's in the store abd their ATM and they refuse their own money? Never go there again. Closest to my house and convenient to buy lotto. I will from this day on, never stop there and tell all my neighbors to go down 95th street for the better store."
"Clean, very courteous employees, nice prices, and I visit often."
"Neighborhood grocery store that was a pleasant surprise. It did not smell like a Sedano's. Produce was clean, and nicely displayed. Massive amount of organized merchandise, especially for Carribean and Central America products. I will visit again when I need to make empanadas, quesillo, etc."
"I live in this neighborhood. My boyfriend and family have been in this neighborhood for over 60 years so they know Saveland quiet well. This store obviously pays for reviews because all these positive reviews are lies. No one speaks English. It’s a Hispanic store, with the same type of clientele. So these are all fake reviews from fake customers. The store is extremely overpriced. The store is NOT clean. It always smells like dirty mop water. On two separate occasions I’ve gotten expired food, that was over A YEAR OLD. The meat has been spoiled on many occasions with horrible smells. Please do not go there."
"I tried to call this morning to ask for a manager or store manager and an aggressive man started being defensive like he had something on his concious. He didn't even know my problem or issue and before I knew it he hung up on me. There is definitely a language barrier here but worst of all a customer service teachable moment. This is no way to treat a customer who is looking for a refund. I already wrote a corporate letter and don't even want to go threw the hassle if wanting a refund under 5 dollars. I'm just going to take my loss and avoid this place at all costs. Not good to treat a local like this."
