"Unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. This place is now known as D'Amore's, and it is beautiful. Only a handful of tables, awesome ambience, great looking menu. We were excited. Started with the Cesar salad. Oof. It was different, but we were still jovial. Lots of garlic. I mean, lots. That's OK. We like garlic. My husband had the sea bass as his entrée. Sea bass is one of his favorites. It was the texture of rubber and didn't taste good at all. I had the rack of lamb, ordered mid rare. Lamb is one of my favorites. It is supposed to be tender and delicious. It was not. It was undercooked and had no flavor. Yes, undercooked. Yes, I ordered mid rare. Yes, I know what that is supposed to be and this was undercooked. The kids had spaghetti. That was good. It's hard to mess up spaghetti. It's not an inexpensive place, which we do not mind, it's just disappointing to spend that much and not be satisfied. My husband had wanted to go to The Garlic. I didn't want to wait. Next time, we go to The Garlic and wait, because we know the food will be divine. This was awful, I'm very sorry to say."
"Our first dinner in New Smyrna was fantastic. Our server, Anastasia, was top notch with service and genuinely loves this restaurant. Food was delicious as you can see from the photo great portions.. we didn’t have room for dessert but they make their own and it looked decadent; turtle cheesecake and saw a huge tiramisu; Very accommodating to all patrons requests ie wine selection, meal specials… I think we’ll have to go back !!! Thanks for a wonderful first night."
"Great wine bar and Italian restaurant in New Smyrna Beach! Outdoor seating available and everyone was wearing their masks. Street parking available. The service from Charlene was excellent. We sat outdoors and a thunderstorm rolled by. She quickly dropped the awning covers and we were able to enjoy our meal of New Zealand mussels, lobster ravioli, crab cakes, Mahi Mahi sandwich and veggie rigatoni. The wine list is very nice for NSB but the beer selection is limited. Restaurant is centrally located and near the beach. Great way to finish the day. Reasonably priced and a great value! Strongly recommend."
"We ate here Sunday, 1/12/2020. It was a beautiful evening and we were looking for a place to eat. The exterior of this place was pretty, and there were outdoor tables, so we picked it. We weren't sorry! This is a charming area - lots of shops and restaurants and plenty of free street parking. We picked this place because it was cute and smelled good (how we usually pick a place). The inside was crowded, but we were able to score an outside table and that was fantastic. Our server was exemplary, came right over, took our drink orders - then came back with our drinks. (NOTE: There is a "happy hour" period where they give you a free glass of wine - that was wonderful!). I ordered fettuccini Alfredo because I can't resist it and I felt like I just wanted to get fatter! My friend ordered the ravioli in a red sauce; the raviolis were huge. We are vegetarians (not vegan), and there were plenty of options for us by just leaving off meat sauce. Both our dishes were delicious and extremely plentiful (we took home leftovers). The meals don't come with a salad or anything (just a nice basket of bread), but you can order a side salad at an additional cost. We felt the prices were extremely reasonable for the good meals we received. We had an amazing slice of chocolate cake (it might have been cheesecake) that was to die for (again, I just wanted to get fatter!). Sitting outside in a charming little seaside town, great service, great food - it's all good. When I am in the area again, I will definitely return as this was a wonderful Italian meal. p.s. The inside is small with a bar and a lot of tables. It was a little crowded, but charming. Notice the ceiling - all corks! So cool!"
"Good food and very good service. This place is popular and sometimes you will need to wait before get a table. Location is perfect and prices are good."
