Crowne Plaza Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise

"If you are looking for a hotel with hospitality- be warned this is not the hotel you are looking for. The staff was not welcoming at first to say the least. There were multiple families who had checked in and crammed into the very small lobby area they have- very little seating so there was not enough room for everyone to wait for rooms comfortably. There was an odor to the water and an odor which seemed to be masked by a heavy perfume type smell in parts of the hallways. The room was mediocre- both in appearance, functionality, and cleanliness."

"Literally feel as though I paid $300 to stay in a crack house with paper thin walls for the night. Adults and kids screaming and running down the halls all night long, cars revving their engines on repeat like we are on a racetrack, people hysterically laughing and screaming well into the night at the hotel's run down pool, and best yet - it took us an hour to check in after arriving because there was one person working who obviously wasn't worried at all that tons of patrons were waiting with their families. Honestly, if I had to do it over again, I would have paid 5x as much to stay at a decent hotel and get some rest! One night here was so bad that it ruined my family's whole trip! I would highly advise anyone with a desire to sleep at night stay elsewhere!"

"Very close to the cruise ports, but I will say the entrance was a little confusing to find at first because it seems to share parking with an Aloft hotel. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfy. View was decent and I think we'll definitely be back here again the next time we are in the area. It seems like most of the bad reviews are focused on the shuttle service. Because this place is so close to the ports I recommend ride sharing. It's much cheaper and you won't be waiting long. Not sure why people opted for the shuttle in the first place with the cheaper options out there."
