"The owner doesn’t speak to customers directly, he doesn’t honor the club membership, and way over charges. His employees have been out here 5 times, I have taken every recommendation they have made, (including a cleaning which they never did.) Then when something doesn’t go right they don’t stand behind their services. They were out here 5 times, with a “club membership” and don’t clean your unit even though it needs it. But once your part fails, they point the finger at you for a service they don’t honor or stand behind. The best part is after you call and expect a call back, they don’t call you, and send you an email about a service reminder for a cleaning after you had an issue the day before. You can get the product they ask for less than 1/10th of the price. After the horrible experience at my house, my wife asked to at least clean the unit and the technician denied it. His technician Justin also left his tools here, and at the time when I thought they were good people I recommended them to my mother-in-law where he also left his tools behind. Would never recommend this company and as a business person myself, when your employees make mistakes and don’t do right, you might it right. Spencer is as greedy as they come."
"One of the worst, and greediest companies to deal with. I spent 800 dollars for them to fix a leak and test it to ensure it is fixed, and added their “club membership” to help maintain my AC unit. I have contacted them 6 times in the last year for AC issues because I have been concerned about a potential leak and they tell me every time everything is fine and I’m a “club member” so they will clean my unit for free twice a year and handle my issues with no problems. Since then, my unit stopped working and I called them again, and the technician (Justin) came out and said my units Schraeder valve failed because of a very dirty unit that overheated. I called and complained because I paid for this membership for them to clean my unit, and they haven’t cleaned it once in the 4 times they have came out. So this would have never happened had they done their job properly. I spoke to the manager Megan, and they said the best they could do was replace the valve for free which is a part that is worth less than .10 cents (they don’t know I know that) instead of charging me 100 dollars for it on top of recharging the unit for 1200 dollars. This all could have been prevented had they done their job correctly and not lied about maintaining my AC unit, very disappointed they don’t want to make this right and are charging customers for a membership they do nothing with, except steal your money. I’m a business owner myself and when my customers are overdue for their maintenance or behind, I inform them and make it right. If one of my employees fails to inform my customers they are overdue for their maintenance and do not inform them because they are there for something else. We take ownership of it and make it right because neither I or them would want to be taken advantage of. And clearly this company only cares about taking advantage of others."
