"I hired Elite Exteriors to do a 2 part cleaning service for a huge remodel of my home. The first cleaning was to clean up the construction mess so that final finishes could be installed. I was charged a little over $816. It was a 5 star job and I tipped the cleaners. Based on that I decide to go ahead and hire Elite for the final post construction cleaning even though I thought the Quote for the job was high. The estimate was written up by Justin who never came on site. When I pointed out that there were things listed he took a couple of items off and lowered the estimate to $2380. There were still items listed on the estimate that could not even be done yet (Faucets, Toilets and sinks were not even installed yet) but I needed to move in so I agreed to the terms. For the Post Construction Clean-up, a second and different crew came. Sadly, time ran short and after a full day of cleaning they missed a lot. They came back the next day to clean very obvious things like inside the kitchen cabinets and the tile in bathroom. After that I discovered that the inside of the fireplace, on top of fans and all interior doors were also completely missed. They sent them back again but to no avail because we had already cleaned it on our own and it was very awkward having them back to really do nothing. The cleaner offered no apologies and did not want to be there. I was told on one of the phone calls that they were having trouble with his work and that they probably should have sent the first people again. Elite said nothing else could be done because they had already paid the cleaners. So basically I overpaid for services not performed. Below are 2 examples.
