Jeanie's Coin Laundry & Dry Cleaning

"Been using this laundromat for several years. No problems. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly. Today, June 30, 2023 was very disappointing. One of the washers took twice as long to go through the cycle than the other 2 even though I loaded them all within one minute of each other. When I put things in the dryers, about 10 minutes later I went back to check them. One dryer (#69) wasn't getting warm at all...completely cold air even though I set it on high heat. I moved those items to a different dryer (#62). I put money in and put it on high heat. I then went to the front desk to inform the ladies. One was standing with her back to me. The other two were standing there talking (personal conversation) and looking right at me. They finally finished up their conversation but didn't address me. I finally said, "excuse me". The one with her back to me responded. I told her what the issue was and what number it was. She checked it but they did not put an out of order note on it so that others wouldn't waste their money. About 10 minutes later I checked the items I had in #62. They were completely dry and SUPER HOT!! I pulled my sheets out noticed the dryer sheet was singed. I went back up to the desk and got the same woman who had helped me before. (Once again, the other two women were too engaged in their conversation.) I then noticed one of my sheets. It was singed and melted. I showed it to the woman. I told her I was more concerned of the dryer causing a fire than my sheet. She took the sheet to the desk to ask the other women what she should do. She came back and said the other women had stated that I should not have put the dryer on high. I told her I didn't believe that because I've washed and dried these items there before with no problems. I told her I wasn't worried about my sheet. I was more concerned that if someone isn't paying as close attention there could be a fire. She finally got the okay to put a sign on the dryer. Very disappointed today. Please fix the problems and speak to the 2 older women working regarding their customer service, after all, they're representing your company."

"Great place to do laundry. Only complaint I have is that it is only quarters. The big machines are $6.75 plus you have to spend more to dry, soil wish they had a better way to pay. Maybe also provide something to put $20+ worth of quarters in."

"Did not have a good experience here. I dropped off several pieces of clothing and specified all the items. The lady at the register forgot to charge me for one of the shirts, but she realized after I had left the store, and she called me to let me know that I could pay for it when I pick the items up. When I arrived several days later to pick the items up, I was informed that they did not send the extra shirt off to be cleaned because I had not paid for it, and furthermore, they had balled it up and stuffed it in a plastic bag instead of the hanger I had dropped it off on. They then told me they would be happy to clean it, but it would be several more days and full price to which I said no thank you. I’ll take my business elsewhere."

"This is by far the best laundromat in town. It’s clean and no issues with any of the machines, the workers are pleasant and someone was always cleaning. So much of a better experience than the Elegance Laundromat in Lynn Haven which was a nightmare and I won’t be making that mistake again. Jeanie’s will always be my choice."
