"The process was not pleasant. They used up all my insurance money and left me with not bathroom sinks, flooring and baseboard. This is not American Self Storage writing this review."
"Servpro was contracted by Lowes to install our Luxury Vinyl Plank floor in our living room, hallway, and one bedroom. The total cost was over $5000. During the installation, the installer, told me there were some uneven spots on the concrete that needed to be ground down. That there would be an extra charge. I told him to go ahead and do it if it had to be done. After the job was completed, Servpro called me and said it was $400 for the grinding. I asked how they came up with that figure and was told it was based on how many square feet were ground. I asked how many feet was it and was told to ask the installer. I asked the installer how many feet he told the office and he said, "I don't measure the feet, I just go by how many spots Ihad to grind down." And how many was that I asked. "14" he said. When the installers went to lunch, I took photos of the areas he ground down and it was about 5 areas for a total of about 40 square feet. I think $400 is too much to pay for so little work. I contacted Lowes flooring department, customer service, and personally talked with the store manager who told me it was out of their hands and to contact Servpro who I had already talked to. Even though the floor looks very nice and they did a good job, I cannot recommend Servpro nor Lowes to anyone needing a floor installed because I feel I was overcharged for the additional work they did. (Light colored areas in photos show areas sanded. Some photos are of the same sanded area just from a different angle)."
"Serb Pro did an excellent job on the remolding of our kitchen. They made sure that the job was to our liking. The workers (Carlos) were very professional and made sure to keep us informed throughout the whole process. I would recommend the company and plan on using them again in the future."
"The service was professionally delivered. The technicians were personable and very respectful. I appreciated that they cleaned up so well as they worked. They really made a bad situation more tolerable. The office staff has been a nightmare to deal with. My insurance said they could deal directly with them but the local office denied that they could do that. It’s 3 months later and I have been waiting for a refund due which “is in the mail”. PS. I have been contacted by the new owners and I now understand and the issue was resolved with a hand delivered check for the amount due to me by the former owner. Good employees are a treasure!"
"We discovered mold where we had a roof leak repaired and called Servpro for help. They showed up, but mold returned, so they came back. The cut a big section of sheetrock from the ceiling and helped find a potential source of the leak. After we contacted the roofers to repair the leak, we called Servpro of FWB to come out and finish their job. The day before they were to return, we discovered that the leak was still there, so we told them we would call them when the roofers did the job we paid them to do. The hole in the ceiling they cut is still open, and it is next-to-impossible to get Servpro to come back out. My calendar shows that they promised to come out Sept. 14, but we never got a visit from them, even after we changed our schedule to be at home when they arrived. I called Servpro back and spoke to a female employee, who was unaware they failed to show up on Sept. 14. She looked on her calendar and said that a crew would be out on Sept. 22, between 11-1. We changed our schedule again, with relatives visiting us from out-of-town. We waited and waited until dark and never saw, nor did we get a call from Servpro. The hole they cut in our garage ceiling is still open, the walls where Servpro began repairs is still wide open and covered with something they put up. We have had out-of-town guests for several months, and are embarrassed to let them see the condition of our garage. There is no reason for them setting an appointment and not showing up TWO TIMES! I have no idea how long this situation has been going on, but the work began in the Spring of 2021, and here it is the second day of Autumn. I am cooling off before contacting them again, which reminds me, we have already paid in advance for the repairs to be done, a fact which only rubs salt into the wound, so to speak. They finally came out and fixed everything in one day, and I was impressed with the man who did the taping and floating of the sheet rock, so I am bumping the stars a wee bit."
