"I went in for a medical alert tattoo (also my first tattoo) and my artist Vic was extremely helpful and open to any input and super friendly, made me feel extremely comfortable. As a diabetic i cannot recommend this place enough because their cleanliness was way above par and just made the whole experience that much better. "I did a walk in for nose piercing at night & Alyssa was great!! And very KIND :) she was the one who took care of me & was very knowledgable about the aftercare & recommended me the best jewelry for my skin since it tends to reject a lot of jewelry/piercings & creates an irritation bump. She was 100% on the sterilization process and she walked me through all the steps. The piercing part didn't even hurt. I would drive back again to Ft.Lauderdale @True love tattoo to see Alyssa if i ever want to get more piercings or for a jewelry swap. I've gotten my nose pierced so many times by other piercers in the past & she was the best one yet & one of a kind. THANK YOU ALYSSA "

"To begin with, I entered this shop with the intention of modifying a tattoo that I already had on my back. The staff was pleasant and scheduled an appointment for me, taking a $75 deposit, and assured me that the artwork would be ready in 2 days. However, it took them a total of 5 days to present me with their rendition of the design, which was the same day as my appointment. Although I attempted to cooperate with them, I was dissatisfied with how they outlined my tattoo, and I went to other tattoo shops seeking advice. They suggested a full cover-up instead. Consequently, I requested a refund of my deposit from True Love Tattoo since I no longer wanted to work with them. Their response was that I had 48 hours before my appointment to receive a refund, and that the artist needed to be compensated for the time spent creating the drawing. While this is understandable in most circumstances, what they produced was simply images that I had already provided to them. I would not recommend this shop unless you are looking for a cheap and basic tattoo. Even then, I would advise against it since there are better quality establishments available. I discovered Stefano's Tattoo Studio, which has highly skilled artists who are proficient in using procreate and will sit down with you to discuss the specifics of your design. They even offer free consultations and, in my experience, worked on my piece before requesting a deposit. I am leaving this review of True Love Tattoo because they appear to be in need of money. While $75 may not seem like much, I politely requested a refund, and they took until the day of my appointment to show me their work. I feel that little effort was put into the piece, and I urge caution when considering this establishment."
