"It was almost perfect, but now they don't realize when my medications are almost due and they don't let me know ahead of time if there will be a problem with the prescriptions, the refills, the insurance not paying for it, or if I will need prior authorization from my doctor, or if they don't have the medication in stock. Many times when I call to ask for refills, they tell me they got it, and then I wait and wait for the medication to be delivered, and don't get it, and have to keep calling to remind them I'm out of X medication, and at the last minute they tell me that I ran out of refills ( even if I do have refills ), and surprise! ...now I need insurance's approval and/or medical prior authorization, or that the medication is out is stock and that I have to wait until they order it; that they will let me know, ( but they don't ). This takes days and in the meanwhile I'm being left without medication(s) and no one gives a hook. Sometimes they have sent me medications don't belonging to me or my medication is short. They make it right, but now I don't trust them anymore and have to be on the alert and count the pills to make sure the amount is not short. Before they use to write a note saying they owe me part of the medication, but lately they don't. It's not only me, but other people I know as well, that get their medication from them. Last, I don't understand why sometimes X medication is covered by my insurance and sometimes they tell me it's not covered and have to pay cash. For example, I call on a Saturday morning, and the Spanish guy tells me my medication is not covered, but then I call again on Monday, and the medication it's covered. Why is this ? I don't understand ! There are so many things going on. I need medication running smooth all the time; I need to know if it will be a problem ahead of time so I can work it out, and not be left without medication for a week or more. I have multiple chronic conditions, very painful ones, and can't afford to wait to resolve this at the last minute, so I wish I could switch to another more responsible pharmacy, but because I don't have transportation and they deliver, it's very convenient to me. I hope they will organize their system and improve their ways, because is a good pharmacy, but it's very disorganized. Nothing is perfect, but when you're dealing with sick patients that need their medication on time, they place their trust in your hands, so you need to do things very right. God bless."
