"I had been a customer of theirs since they opened but place has gone down hill. The one good barber was booked solid and only working by appt. I had my choice between "Shakes" whose hands shake so much a bad haircut is guaranteed and "Hatchet" who is a small woman that jams the comb into the top of your ear so fast and hard you scream. I and my son ended up leaving."

"I decided to get my first traditional wet shave, along with a haircut. I was serviced by a Vietnamese gentlemen, friendly but with terrible English language skills. I requested a four on the sides, and a little off the top and back with the scissors. He busted out the thinning scissors without asking whether I wanted my hair thinned, which happens from time to time and which I find annoying, but not an unforgivable offense. I asked that he not thin my hair, and he said "okay," and then proceeded to take the thinning scissors to the back as well. I just rolled my eyes. Not the end of the world. The wet shave "experience" and its aftermath is what spurred me to write the review. I look at myself in the mirror and initially thought I had some kind of acne breakout that I hadn't noticed this morning. Upon closer inspection, I had multiple nicks all over left side of my face. The gentleman tried applying powder to my face to staunch the bleeding. I walked to the front to see they only took cash, requiring a swing over to Wells Fargo, which gave me time both to mull over what happened, and notice my brand new dress shirt was stained with blood, which I would have to return to the office wearing. The owner was there at the front when I got back, and upon bringing the situation to his attention, he was completely indifferent. He even went so far as to accuse me of having "sensitive skin." If I could go back in time, I would have replied "Well you ought to warn prospective wet shave recipients to wear cheap clothing then." I told him I would pay for the haircut, and not the wet shave, and he obnoxiously told the barber "he's not paying you for the wet shave" and walked away. The way he responded to me as a justly unsatisfied first-time customer is the "straw that broke the camel's back" and led me to write this review. 1.) No one cuts my hair unless they speak English. 2.) Don't expect me to pay for a wet shave when I walk away with a blood-stained shirt. 3.) Don't expect me to believe some kind of garbage that getting nicks up and down the side of my face is on account of "sensitive skin," as opposed to poor service and someone who doesn't know what they're doing."
