"Great beach! It's very large, offering plenty of space to spread out and enjoy privacy. The sand is lovely, fine and soft, not rough at all. Public parking was easy to find and inexpensive; you can pay per hour through an app. There weren't too many birds around, the waves were moderate, and the area was kept very clean. One downside: the bathrooms were a good 10-minute walk away. However, there are showers for rinsing off and chairs to sit on outside the beach entrance. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and plan to return all week. It's a very nice beach!"

"You know, I have arrived from Pittsburgh, PA (32F) and got warmed and relaxed here. How is it possible 75F of water sea temperature. Everything is bright and so alive!!!"

"My favorite beach in the region. I will choose this beach over the Miami’s South Beach anytime because this beach is clean, relatively quiet, small but cozy. There are plenty of options to dine out at relatively non-touristy prices, including my favorite Vietnamese restaurant Basilic. And finding a parking spot isn’t a nightmare. If you are willing to walk 1-2 blocks, then you can find a parking spot relatively easily even during the weekend. I will probably edit this review and change the rating when the peer reopens. It was under construction during my recent visit (Jan 2024). It was a great place to unwind, having fun with big birds, watching fisherman and just enjoying the beach view."

"Great beach with good infrastructure. The only reason I don't rate it higher is due to the fact that there aren't many restaurants to choose from if you feel like eating something. Still is a great place to spend a day. Parking could be a problem on weekends but I still highly recommend it."
