"Overall the place is nice on the inside (brand new facility) and the few workers there are welcoming and kind. HOWEVER, I paid 200$ (Originally was going to be 250$+) For what I believe should have been 100-120$ braid and haircut. I understand braiding can be expensive, but as a man who is not getting faux hair added/ doesn’t have super long hair, I find it ridiculous to have been charged so much. My hair was braided from its curly natural state, rather than being blown or stretched out, lacked shine and luster once finished, and was so frizzy, it seemed I already had my braids in for a week. On top of this, at the very end I was given a discount because the “actual” braider wasn’t there, which I would like to ask, why would you braid my hair if the person who does the braiding isn’t there? Tell me to come back when they are there. I’m no barber, but I can definitely try to cut someone’s hair, and would they prefer me or an actual barber? Overall, I probably won’t be going back until they have more braiders, barbers, stylist, etc. Thanks anyways"
