Reviews
"I love this place, if you're on the water it's beautiful. Kayaking is the best way to see this area. Boats are allowed with a 9.9hp or smaller. It's also a place that a lot of birdwatchers go. It's not uncommon to see a Bald Eagle or two. The one caveat is that there is a healthy population of gators there. However, they normally keep their distance from kayakers. The restrooms were renovated in 2019."
"Always enjoy fishing early in the morning"
"Amazing place to explore nature close to St Augustine"
"We had a wonderful late afternoon walk. A ranger had shown us a great way and do we even saw an Alligator and a bat house."
"This is a neat place for kids to experience nature. We didn't get in the water, but there were a lot of people fishing and swimming in the river's edge. We went on the Sensory Hike and saw armadillos. Some of the trails were flooded out, so we didn't get to do as much as we wanted, but we will definitely be back. Side note, we were surprised by how nice the facilities were when the kids needed the bathroom."
