Publix Super Market at Curry Ford Square

"As I was unloading my groceries, the cashier asked me if I was buying for Instacart. I looked at her and said, no, but sometimes I order from Instacart. I couldn't understand why she would ask that, instead of simply say hello. Am I not allowed to shop at Publix? Please make sure you train your employees on diversity. Everyone should be welcomed to shop. That being said, I love shopping there, but if I'm asked that again, I'll take my money elsewhere."

"Great customer service was provided by Mitchell in the dairy department. He went above and beyond to help my mom, who is a senior, locate a microwave food cover. Mitchell was polite and pleasant. Our cashier Bursha was also great. She was welcoming and friendly. The fruit selections of grapes, strawberries and cherries were perfect and ready to eat. Great Publix experience"

"I have been shopping at this Publix for the last 12 years and I have always received top notch service. Tonight, however I was a little disappointed that 1.5 hours before closing they refused to put out any new hot sides in the deli area. When I asked the girl working she stated they closed early and closed hot food at 7pm. However upon asking the cashier this is not the case and the hot food should be opened until 8p not 7pm. When I went to customer service the young lady did not seem to really care and just stated they usually stop serving new sides at this time. I'm glad to see she cared to help resolve an easy issue to resolve."

"A numerous occasions I have had baggers and check out people at this Publix ask me if it was OK if he could put my raw chicken in the same bag as scones I bought from the bakery and I’m sure I looked at him like he had two heads because my kids would know better than that ….you don’t put raw chicken or pork or any meat in with items that you are going to eat without cooking …. If people in general know these things, why don’t the Publix check out people and baggers…. And on other occasions, The checkout people and baggers don’t ask and they just start bagging up and if I am not paying attention, my raw meat will be in with vegetables or bread or bakery items…. This just speaks to a lack of training, and overall care on the part of Publix"
