"lovely little park and campgrounds, the community fire pits are a wonderful idea, so many trails to wander and beautiful scenery. the main trail is wide and well packed, I was able to get through in my wheelchair easily (except for a few pesky roots), can't wait to come back here to camp!"
"Great place to camp with kids. Not a huge park but has something for everyone. Trails are nice and tailored to kids"
"This is an amazing park to visit for just a day out with family or you can also camp in tents or rent one of their amazing rustic type cabins some of the cabins are like tree houses. They have a public pool a playground picnic and grilling. Many nice nature trails to walk on including a long dock out to the water where you can fish. They also have a really nice bathroom facility with changing stalls. You can rent canoes and spend the day on the black creek enjoying nature. Overall the park is a family kid and pet friendly place to visit."
"This park is one of the best places to go hiking and camping if you are in the Clay County area. The park is very clean and has a lot of trees that give you a lot of shade if you go on a hot day and the cabins are all well-maintained. This place has some other amenities such as bicycling and kayaking, and it has a bunch of wildlife animals such as birds and alligators. Me and my family enjoyed our time at this park and we will be back again in the future, and I highly recommend you to check it out since this park is a hidden gem and is great for not only experienced hikers, but also families as well."
"This is a great place for a short, casual, relaxing walk in nature. The trails are short but I didn't mind because the grounds have character. You can camp there and rent cabins too. How awesome! There a pool for guest there too. It was built in 1932 and more land was added in the 1950's. It certainly has a late 50's feel to it. It's pet friendly too."
