"Wow!! What a wonderful place!! Everyone has been so friendly and nice, especially Cheryl in the office who is a pure gem!! She didn't even mind my million questions or bothering her daily! Now for the campsite, every site is right on the water!! Our site was way on the end with a wide open view of the winter sunset, just beautiful!! However, every site has a beautiful water and sunset view! There's even a pool overlooking the lake! I dangled my feet in the beautiful water, but the weather was a little chilly when we were there! I could go on and on, everyone was nice in town, only about an hour from palm beach and the ocean, and driving through the sugar came fields was very interesting! This place is a hidden Florida hideaway!! $60 per night is great and $226 a week is amazing for these views on the water!"
"I had an awesome time camping at Pahokee Campground! I booked with Sheryl over the phone, and she booked me an awesome campground! The campsites are clean, well dispersed, and have all the amenities you need For tent campers like me, you could plug your electronics to the electric supply at the site if need be. There's also water, and great great bathrooms. I camped here in the winter, and the bathrooms were clean, warm, smelled good, and overall, very inviting! Staff is great and helpful There is a great walking/running trail all along the rim of the lake. Great spot to camp- highly recommended!! Thanks again Sheryl!"
"The campsites are fairly close together but that's only a problem if they are really full. Couple of times I've stayed there I had lots of empty spots on either side of me. The pool is open but the bar is closed (COVID-19). Bicycling on the levee is really fun. The tow of Pahokee has a small grocery store sometimes there's a food truck that serves really good Jamaican style curried goat with rice."
"Awesome sunsets, very peaceful. Everyone very friendly. Will be returning to this hidden treasure. We did experience some very windy nights, but survived them. Cannot wait to go back again."
