"Having tried several of the airboat tours along US 41, Miccosukee Airboat Rides lands right in the middle of the pack. From Miami, this place is a bit longer of a drive than most other airboat tours, which might also explain why it is slightly cheaper. The tour itself was good, but a bit short and we didn't see that many animals. However, we did get a very close look at one alligator."
"They drive you around for like 10-15 mins on the water to see a few gators. Then they take you to a Old Village its a little island for 15-20 mins. It has Miccosukee women who cook and sells food and drinks if you want them. Then you have a 5-8 minute ride back to drop you off, we did enjoyed our time."
"Excellent experience. Elvis was a great guide. Knew info on local tribe and very familiar with region. Highly recommend and preferred to support a company that was owned/ affiliated with local Miccosukee tribe"
"$25 for a 30 min excursion out on an airboat. Our airboat pilot? Captain? Was pretty taciturn and hard to understand. He hardly said a word. He took us to see a momma alligator and her babies (got really close to them too.. not sure what the guidelines are, but we were within 10’ of them.) then we went to some sort of wooden plank picnic area which was supposed to be an Indian settlement but just looked like a place where they have barbecues and coolers and stuff. It didn’t look traditional or authentic at all. All pressure treated wood. Our guide said literally nothing while we were there. We were there for 10 min. The whole time there was a guy using a gas powered lead blower blowing nothing. It was totally killing the peaceful vibe of the place. You’d think he could take a break for 10 min and have a chat with the 3 guests that were there. I read reviews of the other places and they all mentioned really knowledgeable guides. Well that was not my experience with this place. Go to one of the other ones!"
"This was a great experience and the staff was friendly. Only $20 per adult, not bad compared to some of the other places near by and we saw a bunch of gators. I would recommend this air boat tour!"
