"Today is Monday, and my friend and I decided to go shopping at Brandon Mall to avoid the weekend crowds. We went to Swift Cuts since they had a 4.6 rating and wanted to get a simple haircut. When we arrived at 11 am, we saw three African American barbers cutting hair. One of them had just finished with a client and left the shop, while another one seemed hesitant to take my friend. The other barber was cutting the hair with the extreme unhurried pace of an African American client who had been there since the shop opened at 10 am I had to wait for 45 minutes while my friend got his haircut. Inittially we saw the prices for services on the board. For a basic haircut, the price was listed as $32, but my friend was charged $40 after he was done. The board showed that $40 was for a haircut and a beard trim, which my friend didn't need. Meanwhile, the other barber was still cutting the same African-American client from the morning, Subsequently, my friend's hair barber left the shop immediately after he received payment, and saw me ready and waiting while he was walking away. As White-Americans, I felt like my friend was overcharged, and I was being ignored. All the clients I saw were African American, and I perceived the impression that African-American clients were the shop's top priority. As a senior and U.S. veteran, I awaited to be treated fairly and with respect. Unfortunately, I left the shop without getting my haircut and my friend was overcharged & and forced to tip by the payment method on the machine. Thank you, Swift Cuts, for showing us that you don't value White-American business."

"My cut was ok. Nothing special. Price wasn't bad. 40$ for a haircut and beard. Some guy named lightskin wouldn't shut up the entire time and I lost braincells having to hear him talk as I was getting my haircut. He was not my barber thank goodness. Won't go back because of him."
