"I brought my kids to Jose once before and he did a great job. I booked him again, over a month in advance, to get them haircuts again before my wedding. We were the first appointment for the day. We arrived at the shop and no one was there. Doors were locked. So we waited outside while I tried to contact Jose. I got a response via text stating "I apologize, I'm out with COVID, I must have forgotten to text you." I completely understand being ill. However, there is a responsibility to clients to make sure they are notified. I let him know I would have appreciated some sort of notice, but that I hope he feels better soon. No more response or follow up at all from him after that. As a result of his no show, I was left scrambling before my wedding to find a barber who would be able to get them in. Fortunately, I found someone who did a fantastic job and offered great service. We have continued to use them ever since."
