"I received a haircut from Candie, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in terms of precision and the desired outcome. Despite being willing to pay a higher price for quality work, I felt that the result fell short of what was expected. When I attempted to address the issue with Candie, she became defensive and engaged in self-talk, rather than addressing my concerns directly. I do not typically leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share this experience, as the extreme price charged ($62 w/tip) did not match the level of skill demonstrated. In fairness, I requested a 50% refund, but encountered difficulty in communication with Candie, which has left me feeling scammed. I really wanted to support Candie/black female barber, but she did not provide the level of service I had hoped for. I hope that in the future, Candie will take constructive feedback seriously and work to improve her skills and customer service."
