"Kissimmee River, you can put your kayak or boat for free on a ramp around Polk County in River Ranch or also at Istokpoga Canal Boat Ramp. You can lunch your boat, Jetski and others there and on a mile and a half when you start going in the canal, you will arrived to the Kissimmee river."

"Went into Chandler Slough West for hunting and saw very little sign of game. Seems like there's a lot of vehicle traffic in and out of the campground there and pretty careless campers lots of water bottles and aluminum cans thrown into the bushes that was kind of disappointing. Cross the slough going north and merged with the Florida Trail that was much nicer hiking and much better in terms of the concern for picking up after themselves I would imagine. in other words, there were no garbage strong along the trail as there was further south"

"A unique experience. Pontooning on the river. Got to see a bit of "the ditch" as well as the curvy river. Going thru the lock was quite an experience. Hope to do it again some day."
