Reviews of Harns Marsh
"Was such a beautiful day for a walk around the pond. Lots of nature. Even a geocache or two."
"Great park but they closed the fences ... so you can't do a Loop walk/hike there , however you can park outside and walk out and back"
"If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is a great spot to visit. I personally like to park at the far left side, crossing the waterway and walk ( Or Bike) around the back side of the trees or along the back side of the pond. Bring a camera as you will find plenty of photo opportunities regardless of the pathway you take. You can walk around the whole pond, which is about a 3-4 mile hike. (Have good sturdy shoes as a lot of it is paved in ground up rock). BRING WATER -as there is little shade opportunities on the far side, and Florida heat is unrelenting! Geocache opportunities here as well! There is also access to the far side of a newer section if you take the path around the back side of the pond.. follow the canal along the trees ..about a mile back you will come to a drainage field & to the left is a foot bridge leading to another section. And it's all FREE!!! Maybe I will see you there. It's my favorite place to go!!"
"This is a good place for a morning walk, run, jog, or bird watching. Just be careful with the gators"
"Beautiful place to walk and see birds. There are no places to sit down during the whole 3 miles, though. You would think they could afford a few benches."
