Venice dog beach

"We bring our two dogs here everyday while we are in Venice visiting family, and it’s always the highlight of their day! There are usually a dozen or so dogs here at any time during the winter season and dozens during the summer months. There is a modest regular dog park at the entrance with water and hoses to wash off sand and fill water containers. We wish it were a longer stretch of beach for them, but it’s still great. And they have several dog waste/ trash receptacles I. The front gates area as well as at the area near the decking."

"Easy access and signage to beach. Everyone is friendly and dogs can run free and play in and out of water. Plenty of places to sit and watch dogs play. Dog park and water station."

"Rating this a 4 because of the fact there are literally no other places that allow you to just have dogs off leash on the beach. I do wish that the area on the beach was fenced in. Not so that the dogs are separated but they could just keep running if they wanted to. When you arrive you will enter through the actual dog park and there is a pathway that’s fenced in to lead to the beach. There is also a station to hose off your dog. The station is not fenced in around the hose, it’s just inside the fenced in dog park."

"I typed in Venice dog beach into my gps and it brought me to Sharkys/Finns parking lot. I parked there, if facing the beach, went left through the parking lot, went up the ramp and around the pond and walked to the dog beach. To have a shorter walk, park at the Brohard Paw Park parking lot (I learned this after), its two parking lots past the beach, toward the golf course. We had such a good time. I could relax and lay out and my dog had a blast on the beach with other dogs. Would highly recommend for dog lovers :)"
