"They cook food now and leave it under the heat lamps so when you buy it it's rock hard this store should be closed down"

"On 6-17-2023 @ 6:31:14 (time of transaction according to my receipt) I bought two 20oz Coke Zero that were at 2/$4. And a Lg Cup of crushed ice. When I get to the register the man attending the register scanned my sodas and just waited for me to pay without giving me the total plus no there was nowhere for me to see the total myself. At this point I asked him, “how much”? He says $4.28 ( the tone of his voice sounded annoyed by my question. When i pulled my debit card to pay, he said “its $5.28” . I said, “ wait, you just said…” , he interrupts and says with attitude “ yes ma’am, you get charged an extra fee when you buying less than $5, All small stores around here do it!” So i said “so you just charge to whatever amount to reach the $5?” He says “no we only charge $.50” at this point i paid and he asked if i want my receipt so i said yes. Now in my receipt he changed Groc N/Tax twice!! If the store owner dont want to accept card payment less that $5 its fine however cashier should have said the owner don’t want card payments less that $5 would you like to buy something else to reach that amount or would you like to pay cash? Not just charge ppl for money they didn’t spend and if I wouldn’t have asked “how much” before I paid and just pulled out my card and just paid I wouldn’t have found out. And the attitude of this man to answer my question, the fact that I asked the question you can tell i got upset and then look at you like you crazy or making a big deal.. Just beware that if you go to this store 1. It really stinks Bad as if they are cleaning with rotten mop and dirty water with amonia.. 2 not one time ive went into this store where cashiers have been friendly or inviting and 3. If you dont buy $5 or more you should pay with cash if you dont want to be charged extra grocery taxes you didnt buy/use plu they dont give you a total so make sure you ask every time or they will OVERCHARGE YOU!"
