"Great park for walking! The trail loop around the river is about 3mi and can be done in an hour. Also a good place to bring your dog (leashed)."
"The park is a bit spartan. Not many picnic tables. No swings, or kids playground stuff. However it has two features that make it very good... New dual ramp motor boat launch at one end with an okay amount of parking, and a fair to okay kayak/canoe launch at other end. dirt limited parking. There are rest facilities which help but they are also at the boat launch end. Good shade easy entrance."
"Great trails we took the pink and blue trails. Nice nature walk. Kids didn't enjoy it but I sure did! I recommend this for trails for sure."
"As you walk in, there are restrooms, some covered picnic areas, a big open field that would be good for ball, and an information board. You can pick up a paper map if you need one, and I placed it back when I was finished because they didn’t have many. You probably don’t need one though as these are easy trails and you can take a photo of the map at the entrance of the North trail. There are three trails, the North (partly paved), River, and South. The star of the show are the viewpoints along the Peace River, and the South has the longest and most interesting stretch of this. The trails are very basic and bland, to be honest. It’s a place where the general public can get exercise, jog, or dog walk and it’s fine for that. If you are adventurous and athletic, I would recommend exploring the woods off trail and/or going down to the river bank. The only major wildlife I saw was one deer. All in all, the park is ok. The old wooden bridge from the North to South trail is a beautiful structure."
"We enjoyed the trails and solitude of our walk. Trails were wide and pets and bikes are allowed. You can walk by the river a bit and some brave souls even went down the bluff to splash in the water. This really is a nice park. No fee!"
