"This is a little lake tucked away on State Road 40 in Astor, Fl! It’s beautiful. Serene. Quiet and relaxing. There’s a small swimming area. A few little picnic tables and restrooms on one side. On the other there’s a dock to fish off of and a boat ramp so you can launch and enjoy a day out on the lake. Just remember… everyone not from Florida… if there’s water there’s gators (chompapotomas) water moccasins (venomous) just because you can’t see them, doesn’t mean they aren’t there!"

"Lovely view of the lake from the parking lot. Kayak launch available for those who want to spend some time on the water. Fishing is available from water or shore."

"Wildcat lake is a nice little place to visit. One side has a boat launch with truck/trailer parking. There is a dock area. Although I didn't take pictures of that side, my bad. The picnic area is closer to the road and had nice views of the lake. There is a nice picnic area with multiple tables, and charcoal cooking. The parking area on that side is not really meant for long vehicles with trailers. Just a really nice little spot to kick back and enjoy a nice lake and have a picnic. There is a little building with and mens and women's rest room. They are the single use, non-water style toilets. But they were decent and there when you might want to use them. All in all, this is a nice little park. I tend to stop for a bit when driving through the forrest. Just a nice quiet spot."
