"Los Laureles is a gem for those who love authentic Mexican food. It has become my go-to carniceria for many reasons. The meat dept. has the best homemade chorizo in the area and the seasoned carne picada makes for a great steak taco or burrito. They have homemade tortillas available and fresh baked torta buns (Bolillos). All the dried Chiles and produce you need to make all the best Mexican dishes at home are here. They have a Mexican restaurant inside, you can dine in or carry out, normally when we have a taco party at home I pick up their refried beans, rice and their homemade hot sauces (red and green) all of which are phenomenal. They also have a taco cart most days outside serving up tacos to the neighborhood. If you are used to authentic Mexican food to take home, eat in or just to get the best ingredients to host your own (pro) taco party you need to come to Los Laureles."

"This is the second time we purchase meat from them. First time the pork was spoiled. We decide to give them another try again the fajita was spoiled and smelled bad. Cheese is kept at room temperature ( you can even feel it when touching it that is warm. Flies in the bread area. Cashiers are always so Rude with a stank attitude. If you don’t like customer service then clearly is not the job for you."

"Last two times of ordering— I first didn’t get any salsa to this final time of getting the wrong salsa & NO cilantro or onions, & limes. I ordered the barbacoa plate. I can understand using green sauce instead of the red I expected that was selected when I ordered but no topping for my tacos.. ruined the whole meal. Waste of money to me at that point changing up everything a persons taste buds go for in ordering food they’ve selected & expected on receiving."

"We had a great time! We enjoyed everything portions were a lot bigger than we were expecting! Which meant we had a lot of leftovers which wasn't bad. I had the nachos which could have been for two instead of one. My wife had the chimichangas, I think, whatever it was she loved it. And our kids ate up the quesadillas. We tried the panes dulces the ones with guava were absolutely delicious. We will be back in order less but still be full!"
