"We enjoyed our time here. Cool spot to see birds and the manatees. If you want to get up close and personal, swimming is a great option. They swim right by you. One of our group wanted to swim with them. He got waste deep in the water when the ranger told him he couldn't go towards them. He can touch them if they swim towards him but he can't go to them. She waited till he was in the water before telling him that. Mind you, he wasn't wearing swim trucks. Would have been a cool experience. Really cool place, though."
"Great experience for my 1st camping trip. The deer are friendly as the armadillos are not scared of people either. Beautiful scenic boardwalk trail."
"Wow! What an awesome state park and campground! The grounds here are manacured and very well maintained. The springs are absolutely gorgeous. The only negative is zero cell service in the park. I'm not sure what would happen in an emergency? I have Verizon and could not make a call or text. I was also told that the other cell services did not work either. If you don't care about cell service then this is a great park!"
"As a first time camper I had site Magnolia #35 and thought everything was great!! Very well maintained bathrooms, very quiet from 11 pm to 7 am, very safe, very friendly staff, well supervised. I saw the security people pass by in the golf cart several times a day. I was able to text my family from the campground. I got to see many manatees, dears, fireflies and a bobcat. There were a lot of bugs, but I didn`t get bitten, luckily."
