"This is a late post. I visited this park on 04-20-2023 and have been here several times prior. This is a nice, small park overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. I really like the observation tower. The photos of wildlife were taken on 04-20-2023, and the landscape photos were taken on 07-02-2021."

"Hagan Cove has a beautiful view of the west coast. There’s a lookout tower and a restroom as well as multiple outdoor park grills."

"Down a long stretch of road through unspoiled Florida marshland and forests lies Hagens Cove Park. This is a part of the Big Bend area of Florida, arguably one of the most beautiful and least-touched parts of the state. There are no big cities anywhere near here, and you really feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere when you come to the end of the road. There is wildlife everywhere! From birds to deer to alligators, you never know what you’ll find. If you’re lucky, you may even see dolphins in the distance! Hagens Cove Park has a watchtower that provides excellent views, a decent amount of parking, picnic tables with shade, grills, some hiking trails, and an easy place to launch a kayak. All in all, a wonderful place worth visiting if you’re wanting a nice picnic in the Florida wilderness! Enjoy!"
